Releasing April 8th, 2021, Cozy Grove will be available to play on the Nintendo Switch, Xbox, Playstation, Epic Games Store, Steam, and it is currently available on Apple Arcade. According to Steam user and Cozy Grove developer francoisvn : “Cozy Grove won’t be launching with multiplayer, but if it does well we might add it later (no promises tho, it’s a long shot)” As of launch, the game is single-player only - but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t have the room to add multiplayer. Much like Animal Crossing, Cozy Grove can be played in small bursts, perfect for those who only have a small amount of time to play. With roughly over 40+ hours of gameplay, this game can be enjoyed and explored. The game runs in real-time, therefore depending on your time zone and time of day, the game matches that to immerse itself with the player’s daily life. As the player completes tasks and soothes the souls of the delightfully shaped and not-so-scary ghosts, the island comes back to life. Everything from summoning ghosts to fishing has a relaxed feel to it. Cozy Grove is a hand drawn island-based life sim, and its coming to PlayStation platforms, starting with PS4, on the 8th April. Hi Scouts As most of you know, it’s been over a year since we first launched Cozy Grove. The style is reminiscent of other hand-drawn games such as the Don’t Starve franchise. Cozy Grove is an incredibly relaxing and soothing game with a beautiful art style, lovely characters and a ton of things to do. If you do not like this, then this game might not be for you.
The artwork in this game is oozing with familiarity and calm textures with their hand-drawn style, giving the appearance of playing in an artist’s coloring book. DISCLAIMER: The game has a real time daily task pace like in Animal Crossing. Cozy, cute and chock-full of island adventure, it is reminiscent of Animal Crossing, but with some spooky mystery and adventure to give it extra life.
